Gateway P-7805u Value?

Hi, I found a laptop recently and it's being sold for 400$. i'm in the market for a cheap 400-500$ laptop to play games on. Is this system worth the money, or should i get a new laptop. The game types im likely to play is, Combat arms, Some call of duty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's got a quad core processor with better graphics, and can easily play combat arms. For call of duty, you might have to turn the settings down a little bit but it should play fine.

I used to have that same laptop. It had MAJOR heat issues...I couldn't play anything without it overheating and turning off. I had it serviced a couple times and it never changed. I would avoid it like the plague.

You could get something new and under warranty with better specs for the same kind of money...I would go that route.
