Hey guys, I have recently just bought the new(ish) Sennheiser PC 363D headset and rigged it all up with the USB sound card and all the stuff it says but when i play a game or test my sound, it goes through the wrong ear.

For instance, if I go into my playback devices and configure the surround sound on my headset, then when i test each speaker on the right (front right, rear right ect.) it comes through my left ear and vice versa. This is very annoying when playing games like battlefield because it feels really weird with the sound mixed up.

If anyone could help then it would be great and if no one has a solution then I'll report it to Sennheiser as it does com with warranty.

Solution
Try disconnecting the sound card and then connecting your headphones directly to the back of your computer (the green headphone port).

If you want surround sound, go into in game settings and change the audio settings to something like "headphones" or stereo (2.1 {You have 2 ears, you only need 2 speakers}).
