can you make a razer chimaera wired. By that i meen i want it to charge while i am using it. Can i use the 2.5mm cable that can go into it and use a adaptor or something to make it charge while using it?

Solution
No, you cannot and should not attempt to alter the means or methods established by the manufacturer.

But before you devise some scheme of hard-wiring your wireless headphones... Would a quick swapping of the batteries be an acceptable solution? The Chimera simply charges two rechargeable batteries in one of the earpieces

If not, then perhaps an alternative project: http://www.instructables.com/id/USB-Battery-Replacement/

For the USB way what does that do it says it replaces the charge of the batteries. What i am looking for is i can play hours on end without it having to be charged or having to change batterys

So could i use a 2.5mm cord with a usb at one end hooked up to the headset and that will charge while in use. Or do i have to get an adaptor for it and have it pluged into a outlet?

So taking a trip to the store to purchase replacement batteries is somehow easier than leaning to the nearest outlet?

If you don't like "going out" then the rechargables are the solution. But if you "just don't like recharging"... You could order batteries from Amazon. Assuming the front door is easier to open than leaning towards the nearest outlet. Consider buying batteries in bulk to negate frequent trips to the store. Or a nice set of wired headphones to wear while the others are charging.
