1. what are things I need to knowe about laptops and gaming only thing I know is get a stand alone (not built in) card slot what about heat and other issues with gaming and laptops?

2. when I hook a laptop up to a high definition monitor and ips type monitor is there display lag or anything with the cable?

3. also what is the difference between a 770mobile and a 770 mobile?

4. what is the cheapest way to get a laptop with a high powered graphics card?
custom order one with or order a cheaper laptop and add the 770m?

thanks

Gaming laptops generally will have heat issues over time because of the way the are designed they are not really meant to run at extremely high loads for a large amount of time. That is why people advise people not to use laptops for bit coin mining because of this. The one thing that I have noticed with gaming laptops is always get a gaming laptop that has two fans for dissipating the heat. If you plan on using an external display get something like a display port cable, not an HDMI because display port cables can carry the most data even at higher resolutions without lag. I would consider most gaming advertised laptops to be just snake oil and that don't have many other features and hardware that some of the non gaming laptops have...

Unless you plan on moving around a lot while you game just buy a small form factor PC
