Hello, my problem is i was updating Avast Antivirus software and it told me to restart my laptop (HP650) in which i did.

It them came up with the "Force log off" program and there was a single application that had a camera icon (which now i know was "Youcam") and the name of the appliction was something like 9SSH76HDSJB3. It just had many letters and random numbers. Thinking this might have been a virus and siomeone watching me, i uninstalled all Youcam software through control panel (uninstall program).

My question is has this ever happened to anyone before? Does Youcam just always run in the background or something? No light was showing when i wasnt using the camera ever?

Im currently doing a full scan for viruses and so far so good (64% complete)

Has this ever happened to anyone before? Its happened to me a few times (where i have seen it in the force log off screen) yet i didnt bother with it. What do you think it is?

im pretty sure hacking into someones webcam is not easy and no average hacker could pull that off maybe its the NSA lol i doubt anyone is hacking into your webcam unless you are doing something sketchy that would make someone want to hack your webcam to see what your doing.
