I am planning to buy a new laptop given that my current one has served its course of 4 years and its time for an upgrade. My laptops should have a life expectancy of at least 4 years and thats why I try by all means to avoid crappy ones.
So I have in the neighbourhood of $1000 and I think this time I want a laptop with an added functionality; not just higher specs like I have been buying for the past 10 years. I have been browsing the (before posting here) for reviews on laptops with 3D display and I was flabbergasted to find only a modicum of information. Even on youtube most reviews I saw were dated some 3-4 years back. Its as if 3D capable laptops have dropped out of favor the last two years. That's only what I thought ! So I couldn't find any descent information and I hope someone here can recommend a laptop with a price tag not more than a $1000 that can play 3D movies. I'm not a gamer so I don't care for the added specs that improve the gaming experience. All I want is a descent laptop with 3D display capable of play 3D movies and I don't mind donning a pair of 3D glasses.
