How do I turn on my netbook without the power button?

Good day,

I can't find any answers at all on Google.

I'm having trouble booting my netbook as the power button was damaged and can no longer be used as the main power button. I am actually wondering if there is any alternative ways of turning it on? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try this: remove your battery. Press your power button. You may need to hold it down for about 3 minutes or so, perhaps rocking from side to side looking for 'partial contact'

This has workrd for me for 4 years to date.

There is a better way, but you have to have an old NES controller with USB adapter. If you press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start, the netbook should start! Cross your fingers! Unfortunately, you'll only have 30 lives (boot-ups) and no continues! Use this method wisely. Keep the netbook on as long as possible on each boot up.
