Hi,

I have a NeXt 350 Watt Sub woofer, Its either a 10 Inch or 12 Inch, No idea :/ .. Any way .. I need to find out how many OHMS the Sub woofer is so I can set the Gains on the AMP. I have already opened the Sub woofer up and all it said at the back of the speaker is 350 Watt, Any ideas? Its all connected to my computer if that matters as well.

Thank You! :)

Solution
There was nothing on the speaker with this symbol preceded by a 4, 8 or 16; Ω? i.e 4Ω or 8Ω or 16Ω

Here is a [strike]dreadful[/strike] informative video about how to use a multimeter to measure resistance load a/k/a Ohm rating of a loudspeaker driver.

The impedance of the woofer will tell you if it is safe to use with your amplifier. It won't tell you the efficiency of the woofer in the cabinet so you can use the gain control of the amp to balance the level of the woofer with the rest of the system. That can be done by ear or by measurement.
