Friend is selling his gateway 1005m celeron dual core laptop (can't paste link here for some reason and I'm mobile bound lol). Costs about 350 new.. He broke the space bar on it. What do you figure is fair to offer him? 200? I need something cheap and fast and figure I'd help him take it off his hands, but don't want to lowball him or anything.

I'm horrible at making decisions like these as I've recently bought a 800$ car for 2000 of a friend which now I find has lots of issues.. So I'm turning to look for advice. I definitely can't afford anything new, so this is my best bet. Please help, thanks!!

He said the laptop is 3 years old. It's actually an i3 3110, cost him either 600 or 800 he wasn't sure. He fixed the space bar by substituting the windows key piece, so it's just the windows key that doesn't function. It also has no HDD he said. Would 200 be fair for that?? Or 250 even?

No HDD would mean he may or may not have a windows key.. I personally prefer Linux but the price point of the laptop would drop further without one correct?

Thanks for the quick reply btw!
