Hey guys, I have a gaming PC and I was using Kaspersky till now but it is kinda slow and I wanna change to a better anti-virus.
My rig is :
Core i7 4th gen , 16 gb ddr 3 vengeance ram, gtx 760.
So, which antivirus should be good ? I play Online a lot , offline too and therefore I want a reliable anti virus.

Kindly help.

Yes your wrong ;) its a separate download from microsoft.

It should work just fine on any version of windows 7 or 8. Obviously microsoft will be supporting their flagship OS.
I believe its also free for business use, for up to 10 licensees (10 installs)

i used kaspersky for years, and i decided a change was in order for similar reasons to your own (albeit i never was never infected under Kaspersky)

I'm now using AVG Internet security 2014, and have had zero issues thus far. The firewall is extremely good, almost in the outpost league. I configured mine to manual so AVG asks me every time what to do. I prefer it that way. It has automated settings as well.

I set several tests to have my firewall penetrated and it got them every time, kaspersky did not. Admittedly if i had it under automated settings like kaspersky was, AVG would have failed too.

on windows 8 , its called windows defender, and it already comes with the OS .

Also i read good things about the latest Norton antivirus and internet security. It used to be very bloated.
