Here about 3 days ago my laptop screen has gotten yellow lines going horizontally across the screen. looks almost like fuzz. they only go about half way but it is making some things very hard to see. it seems the only ways to get it to go away are to beat the crap out of the screen till it works temporary or to twist the screen. some people have told me that fixing the cable would fix the problem some say buy a whole new screen. guess i want to know if their is an easy fix or if i need to replace the screen or cable.

Hi, before replacing anything, disconnect the connector from the screen, reconnect it after. If it's the problem remains, move the cable, you will know if the problem is the cable. The last test is to push at some places on the screen, if the problem go away and came back, then you need a new screen.
