Every time i move to cord it will cut out for a min then the audio will resume. I know it might be a short but i was just wandering if i could be something else also

it could be an open circuit ie break in one of the wires or it could be in the connection at your audio port in the computer.i would start by doing a wiggle test.starting at the end plugged into the computer wiggle the wire moving away from your computer until you recreate the problem.this will at least narrow it down for you.as for repair,the wires are extremely small and would be hard to reconnect.depends on your level of expertise.
