Hey i recently bought a GX60 msi destroyer, thought it would run games no problem but i have fps drops in Titanfall, did research people say its because the cpu is crap. im only getting 40 fps in Titanfall and sometimes 35ish. All Graphics set to low, didn't change anything.

CPU: AMD A10-5750M Quad Core
GPU: AMD R9 M290X/ 2GB Gddr5

I think you should crank up (maximize) your graphics setting in the game especially the resolution because that is where your laptop would utilize your GPU more. If you defaulted it to low resolutions, then your laptop starts to depend on your CPU.

and with recently launched new Mantle API from AMD, your CPU should experience less bottleneck. so, make sure you regularly update your drivers for maximum efficiency.

Let us know how this turn out for you, because I am almost looking forward to buy GX60 destroyer too.

Have you tried this
Install graphics card drivers from amd then go on to switchable graphics application settings and change graphics settings to high performance this will make sure the computer uses the dedicated graphics card. in addition change power play settings the maximize performance as well. you should also change switchable graphics global settings to maximize performance
