In theory you could upgrade to an A10-5750M but sometimes even though the CPU is compatible, it does not work

From what Ive seen the only way to find out is to try it out, like I said, you can upgrade to an A10-5750M which would give you a decent boost in GPU performance and minor boost in CPU performance. But there is no guarantee it will work

Also if you plan to do this, first try upgrading to new A10 CPU and see if that works if it doesnt, put back old A10 CPU and update BIOS, then reinsert new A10 CPU and then check if it works. If after all this it doesnt work, you either got a bad CPU or your laptop wont allow for an upgrade

PS. Dont forget to buy some thermal paste and apply that

actually i bought a 5750m, didnt work, tried several times before and it was a no go, i dont know what the problem is, the pc turned on then after a while it would just shut off, and yes i am running the latest BIOS, which could be the reason why it doesnt work since it probably was only meant to identify a10-4600m and before that, also AMD have given up on FS!r2 sockets because there is only two and the soldered family counter part keeps getting renewed. You could try and post here if it works but i doubt it
