Hey Guys,

I am looking for a gaming headset that I will still be able to hear things around me. I want to hear my wife when she asks me something. I have a pair of turtle Beach px5 that do not work well with PC. Any ideas? I'm thinking either adjustable mic monitoring or just non sound isolating.

Thanks, Derek.

A Logitech G35 is not an isolating headset and runs around $90. The wireless version - the Logitech G930 - is around the same price but I personally won't use the wireless headset for fear the battery would need a recharge in the middle of a gaming session.

Both offer good sound for gaming and have great clear-sounding microphones with plenty of output.

The logitech g930 can be charged while being used. Great set. I prefer the corsair wireless 2100. But you could use cell phone ear buds and a adapter. I think its called headset buddy. Just leave a ear piece out.
