Hi,
title says it all.
GT 60 Dominator-424
or
GE70 2OE-017US ?

GT60 has GPU 870m but is 15" and has 8 GB RAM
GE70 has GPU 765m but is 17.3" and has 12 GB RAM

I heard a lot of great things about GE70 2OE-017US and haven't heard anything about GT60 (+ Dominator seems a bit too BULKY to me I would like something thinner)

Which one do you prefer?

P.S.

I've considered Lenovo y510p but I don't like 750m SLI version, which may or may not have problems with games.

P.P.S.

I'll be using them for gaming as well as work and video editing.

Look into the new GS60 Ghost. It is a much thinner new laptop by MSI. Also look into SAGER laptops. They might have a different solution for you. It really depends on if you want the bigger 17" or smaller more portable 15".

Ghost looks good but it's a bit overpriced, I'll go for dominator, better quality + more portable + more power. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes. The thinner you go the more $$ it will be. I am actually about to purchase a GT70 Dominator for my new portable gaming rig. Glad you made up your mind! Happy computing!

msi ge70 2PE

I was thinking about Apache but there are two things
(1) is 860m good? I mean 870m is quite a bit better as far as I know right?
(2) Will it last during prolonged gaming sessions?
