My mom has the HP, I think the fan on the processor is dying though as it gets really loud and shakes now. By loud, i mean loud like it hitting or grinding on something. I am either going to give her my Macbook Pro, which i honestly don't want to part with, or buy her the one from Staples. But, i don't want this to be a downgrade for her. I can't spend more than $250, i have too many other things on my plate right now. But for her, i am willing to part with my MBP.
Opening up her old HP now, but if i can't fix it i want to know if the Asus is at the very least a sidestep from the HP. Or is it a downgrade?
EDIT: Forgot to mention she will be mainly playing facebook games on it. Farmwars 3 or whatever the hell people do on facebook.
