Any hows if you wish to add fuel to the fire (would be fine with me.) in regards to helping others, but i have a issue with 2 portable devices, the first; well actually i had no intentions using my laptop at all until now that i realized all my previous program i used were on that device:

Blender
Photoshop
Movie editing
Ect
Spreadsheets
Work related.
I can run blender with this laptop but visually you would go blind however i think the cpu bearing the brunt, or maybe not in regards to the gpu.
-----------
I know it's the graphics card, im just playing denial as this laptops served a really good life. and i have no intentions buying a new one for long time.

I will probably buy a secondhand laptop given my asus has a 9800 gs mobile nvidea chip.

So there's your verdict, there's no gpu detection but overall everything works perfectly just at the lowest resolution with 2 split horizontal screens.

I can use it for everyday use, while some would question why.
I'll add a photo soon.

Laptops don`t go dead.
I mean with age and power they lack features of more new laptops, and are less powerful.

The performance degrades through the user intervention.
A computer or laptop does not think in the same way a human does.
It only does most of the time what it is told to do.
It is not a mind reader or thinks to it`s self hang on i`m a bit cluttered here let`s sort it out.

Frankly i`m amazed that when people who use a laptop or computer forget this.
And later complain how slow it is. well the computer did not do it to it`s self so who did?.

I won`t answer that one because it is clearly ever dent on the who part.

Just like a car or anything else it must be maintained by the user to keep it running right.
Or it will slow down, miss fire on a cylinder reducing power. So you give it a regular service to keep it running right.

The same apply s to a laptop, clean it, in respect to the amount of junk programs taking up memory not needed that are running. slowing a computer down.
Regular defrag of the hard drive to speed up data transfer. Upgrades memory just like a car. Make it lighter and faster.

Adding ,tuning, servicing, remove the junk in it weighing it down.

There`s a thought.

No offense but that didn't really explain my problem, still insightful tho, i'll eventually open it up, i showed someone the pic and they assume its the gpu given it's been running 7 years with no service, gotta give it too asus for great workmanship.
All good tho.
