I have the Asus F75VD-NS51.

I'm trying to be sure it can use a backlit keyboard I've been looking at. But, I can't for the life of me find this laptop on the Asus website. I managed to find my S/N on my box and did a parts search.

This is the only one that came up officially. I also looked at the alternate keyboards. However, I'm not sure if alternate keyboards are additional compatible models or?

Any assistance is appreciated.

This is the keyboard I found.

Hi, the best way to know if your laptop can use a backlit keyboard, remove your keyboard and try to find the connector who will power the light for the keyboard, if you found nothing, that means your laptop can't power the LED for the new keyboard.

then best is to take your laptop to service center/repair shop and ask them to fill your necessities as required by your laptop. Let them do it for you.

I can manage. Not going to pay local people money just to figure something else I can do on my own. I doubt they'd be capable of getting any more detail than I have out of having the laptop. I checked with my laptops model and s/n. Both lead me to what I linked above.

Note: There are no centers around here just local people and Best buy. Which always overcharge.
