As the title says, I want to know the difference between the Steelseries Sibera Elite and the Anniversary Edition (better Mic or so).
Also, I would like to know which Headset you guys would buy at the moment.
I, for myself, am torn between the Sibera Elites, V2 and the 9H.

for pc gaming?

i would use some decent studio headphones and a seperate mic myself. open or semi-open headphone designs are best for a wide "soundstage" however closed designs are best for sound isolation but have a smaller "soundstage". good headphones under $2xx would be the audiotechnica m50x (or m50/m50s) and the beyerdynamics dt770. there are of course some more options than that. as for a mic you could use a modmic detacheable boom mic, zalman clip on or mod on just about any detacheable mic you want.

in fact the siberia elite and v2 do not have multiple drivers for each ear. they have two, just like normal stereo headphones do.

to get surround sound (its actually virtual surround... its faked) it uses either software or the soundcard included with the headset. you can actually get free versions of software for virtual surround which work with any headphone (razer virtual surround is free).

the nice thing about such headsets however is that they are either usb or analog which means they play nice with consoles too.

just my thoughts. for the record, i personally own a m50 and while i dont use it often for gaming (i have a hifi speaker set) i have used it for gaming while on the go.
