Im currently using this Asus laptop for almost 3 years. It has never gave me such problems till last night. I realised my charger is plugged in, light on the charger is on, connected to my laptop but my laptop doesn't indicate that Its charging. I'm wondering if I should send it for repair and would like to know how much it cost? Singapore here :/

Buy or borrow a Multimeter to check the Voltage at the Adapter connector. (Red lead to Centre, Black lead to outer sleeve) It should read about 19V DC. If not, your adapter has failed, need a new one!
If, however, the Adapter is OK, and there are no obvious signs that the DC input Jack is loose, it means the Charging controller on the Motherboard has failed, and that means a new motherboard. Unless you are willing to exchange it yourself, probably not worth it...
