I was looking at the 6 configurations outlined on the lenovo website and they use 4 different displays. I asked the online helper for an explanation and the only answer I got was that the wedge display was thicker at the bottom.

The 4 choices are:
15.6" HD LED Glossy with integrated camera (1366x768)
15.6" FHD LED Glossy (1920x1080)
15.6" FHD LED Glare Wedge (1920x1080)
15.6" FHD LED AntiGlare with integrated camera (1920x1080)

I'm leaning toward the model with the 'wedge' display although I'd like to get the 16 GB RAM and the 'helper' said no can do. I'll have to chuck the 4 GB sticks and put in 8 GB sticks later on.

Anyone have experience with these different configurations and/or specs on them and/or recommendations?
TIA

Well, I'd definitely go with a 1080p screen, so that leaves three of them.

Of those three, I'd probably just go with the good old matte (anti-glare) screen; gloss screens can be nice, because the colors come across with a lot more depth since there isn't an anti-glare coating present, but in bright lighting, it can be the most frustrating thing you'll ever have to look at. The 'glare wedge' is just an angled screen that is supposed to help direct glare away from your eyes; I doubt it would really help all that much, and I really dont think it would be worth giving up memory for. Go down to your local Best Buy or whatever electronics store is closest to you and determine whether you'd rather have a gloss or matte screen - that's really the best thing I say, as the difference can be hard to describe with words alone.

That's just my opinion. I've always used matte screens, and probably always will.
