I'm planning to buy a used Dell Optiplex 755* (Small Form Factor). It has a Core 2 Duo E6550 clocked at 2.33 GHz and 2GB of RAM (DDR2). I want to install a 1TB hard drive and a graphics card. I was wondering whether the following would be possible and which would overall be better an AMD HD 6450 or an Nvidia GT 610. Each are priced the same. I want to use this computer as a media server, HTPC, file server and for backing up data. I'll be installing CentOS.
The entire build should cost me under $200.
Opinions? Suggestions? Ideas?
