When I try and playback a video in Premiere Pro it plays nothing (no sound or video) and sometimes does this: http/i.imgur.com/LPJ6ai5.png
Any thought on fixing it?
That image is indeed bizarre to say the least. I take it the imported clips are of various types and it doesn't make a difference which type of file is imported. Are you able to view the clips with any media player before you import them? I only ask because I was wondering about a graphics card driver issue. I suspect you have already thought about that though. I'll let you know if I come across a possible solution.
What version of Premiere Pro are you using? If you have CS5 or later do you have hardware acceleration (CUDA) enabled? If yes then try using software only and see if that helps. Is it one particular file you are having trouble with or is it all clips you import into Premiere? If just the one, does it play back fine with any video player?

I am using version 7.2.1, I have tried with and without Hardware Acceleration enabled. It does this with all of my videos/clips
