Is the Alienware 14 worth buying?

My birthday comes up soon and in planning to get a laptop. It's primary purpose is going to be gamig and a little bit of school work side by side. My budget maxes out at 1300$. For the price I'm stuck with two options:

1. Lenovo ideaPad Y510P (Single GPU)
2. Alienware 14 (1920x1080, 8GB RAM, GT 750M 2GB)

What do you think I should get. I will do a bit of C++ and gaming.

I would like to play the following games at Medium-High at 30-40 FPS:-
1. Battlefield 4
2. CoD: Ghosts
3. ArmA DayZ
4. And many other Triple A Shooters.

For both I would go for an SSD, you can also place this yourself. Since the 5400RPM HDD will slow performance. And between the two, go with your guts, both are good.
