Hi, I need a new laptop for school but I only have an 850 budget.

Things I would like:
i-5 or i-7 haswell
8 gb of ram
Blueray player
SSD boot drive
~15" monitor no touch screen

Things it must have or be budgeted in:
Windows 7
Microsoft office
At least 4gb ram (upgradable to 16gb)
DVD player
at least 500gb disk space
Removable battery
Bluetooth and WiFi
Minimum 2 usb 2.0 ports and a card reader

I am looking for something that will last me a while with a decent battery life. I hope I am not being unrealistic it seems like I am close on the price a few places. Any suggestions?

While windows 7 is harder to come by windows 8 is I not an OS i am willing to support. If wanted a computer to run like my phone i would get a tablet. adding the software wouldn't be an issue but would factor into the price and the computer would have to be compatible.

you could only downgrade your laptops os but the will make you pay 95 dollars for a copy of windows 7. i personally hate win 8/8.1 as it is a flawed os. older games arent supported and third party device drivers have compatibility issues. almost all new laptops are all win 8 and if you want the latest and greatest hardware in your laptop you will either have to have your laptop custom built on a website or downgrade the os yourself for 95 dollars, as all new laptops wave win 8/8.1

if thats what your looking for then sure it does have alot of wht you was wanting. when you downgrade the os and reinstall the new os it will eliminate the bloatware i believe you can purchase a downgrade in the microsoft store and it will keep the drivers, however you will have to download office again so save your software key that comes with the laptop.also have a read of this as it will give you an idea of what you are getting into
