Hey,

I'm looking for a nice portable gaming laptop.
I'll be using it while travelling around Europe for 3 months or so. I was tossing up whether I wanted to get a tablet (something like the Galaxy Note 10.1 + a Class 10 64gb sd) or a laptop, but I figured I could use the laptop after I get home as a LAN machine as well. I have a pc but was looking at eventually building a LAN rig (with a Bitfenix Prodigy) and I figured a laptop might be a better option as I need something for when I go away anyway.

While travelling I'll be using it mainly for movies (so I would probably want it to have 6 hours movie time minimum) as well as (while fully charged) managing 2-3 hours playing a couple of games (Probably mainly singleplayer as I won't often have access to reliable internet for competitive multiplayer such as my usual BF4). I'm so sad, a trip around Europe and I'm still looking to play my games.... :p

I'm looking at preferably a GTX 760/770m or something similar from the AMD side, but I know it may be tough finding a higher end card that will still give me enough movie/playing time. I was also hoping to use it to watch bluray (while plugging it into the tv I will soon be using as a monitor to watch some movies at home) but this isn't a necessity and could add a blu ray to my pc later instead.

I would like to have a ssd + 1tb 7200rpm for storage as well but I figure that may be asking for too much :p A 1tb 7200rpm would still be great tho.

I was looking at the Sager NP8255 (with a 7200rpm drive, 128gb ssd and a GTX 770m) which seems perfect for my needs except I worried the battery wont last long enough. Xoticpc.com states 2+ hours battery life, but is that gaming or just browsing/watching movies? If anyone could answer this that would be great :D

I live in New Zealand so I would prefer to buy one from a retailer here but I'm fine with getting something from a reliable online shop that would ship to NZ.. E.G Xoticpc.com (which looks reliable after me having a brief look at it but I would never really know :p )

I'm looking to spend $1850NZ so around $1500 US, I can push for a slightly higher budget but would like to avoid it.

If you can find something for me I'll be so grateful.

Thanks a lot

Go for the msi ge60(from xoticpc.)It has all your needs and it is under 1100 dollars here. But,the battery won't last long though,2+hrs.It will get hot too,so buy a cooling pad should do.
