Hello I'm new here I don't know where to put this but I need help,
I have a HP Pavillion dv5000 and when I turn it on it beeps 4 times I put a light
next to the screen and it flashed I really need help I am a programmer I make games and that is what I use I am using my friends pc but I tried resetting th CMOS and I reseated the ram
"The harddrive blew up Could this be why its not working?"
I blew it out with a air compressor
I took the ram out one by one
it was working turning on when the Hard drive worked when it blew I put it away I have a live linux opensuse cd that I use on my desktop and i took the hard drive out of the desktop and it booted the cd,
I've done everything when I take the cmos battery out it doesn't beep when I put it back in I get 7 beeps restart and get 4 beeps I put it away for like 3 months with no hardrive amd when I put it away it worked it turned on with a faulty hard drive not I got it back and it doesn't work any suggestions??
