Office 2007 and the task bar

This is Office 2007; I have a user who opens his Word program, and it works but at the bottom on the task bar, the Word Icon is showing a non Microsoft Word Icon. It just a blank icon.

Any idea why that will display the incorrect Microsoft symbol for Word?

This is a bug in Windows. Are you on Windows 7? You could try to delete the icon cache. Here are the instructions: http

To be honest, I have tried this and it does not work for me. I wound up right-clicking the icon choosing properties and Changing the Icon to one I downloaded from the internet and resized to 120x120 and saved as a bmp. I used paint to do this. Very annoying bug MS. Grrrr.
