Which is a good laptop for games under 600$?

I need a good laptop for newer games on medium/high, but every laptop I find has a very good processor but a very bad gpu, so can you recommend me one?

Portables are a poor choice for gaming. Even if you find one that appears to be powerful enough it will over heat. I suggest building a strong desktop and reserve any portables for those applications that REQUIRE portability which does not include games. You will get much mote for your dollar spent and be happier in the end.

Right, buy a cheap laptop and build a desktop for gaming. I made a poor choice by buying a "gaming laptop" and I've regretted it ever since. My laptop overheats CONSTANTLY, and that's with a lot of the settings on medium/ medium-low.

Agree with the other above 2 comments. But at $600, you wont even get a low gaming laptop. Gaming laptops start at about $1000 and that's low starting gaming laptop. If you want medium to high, that's $2000+. High to ultra starts around $3000 and goes up to $5000 depending on memory and storage and how good of processor you want.

Typical gpus found in laptops around $1000 mark fall into the $100 low end desktop capabilities. The typical $1500 laptop gpus step up to about $150 equivalent desktop. $2000 laptops get around a $200 desktop equivalent. Laptops for $600 probably wont include dedicated graphics which is required for any new game and the graphics in lnculded on the i5 im guessing $600 will but might play low settings on older games but wont even play new games at lowest settings possible

Any pc in that budget store wise, would be get a good deal a10 preferably a i5, then buy a better power supply and an graphics card. Make sure graphics card can fit in the case, and that the motherboard and case allow a double height graphics card.

PC $450, power supply $50, leaving $100 for graphics card. $150 will buy a good medium end card, so for $650 and a lot of work and spec/visual work to make sure it will all work.

Otherwise, you could build your own. $600-700 can get you a great mid end gaming pc. Mid end being i5 with a $200ish graphics card, would play most games at medium or probably even high graphics settings. And older games will just play great to say the least

I'd suggest you build your own, $600 especially with all the deals going on, could build you a darn good gaming pc. Well above what $600 in the store would get you.

I'd be willing to help you out if you need. Don't hesitate to ask! However, when building a PC, don't forget that you'll also need peripherals like a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, as well as video, ethernet, and power cables. Those things can quickly stack up.
