Hey ppl i have a sony vaio laptop with
intel 2nd generation i5 2450m
8gb Ram DDR3
640 GB HDD
AMD radeon HD7670m
earlier i was using an ac adapter of 4.7 amps with 90Watts and i was getting a fair amount of performance in gaming for example COD black ops 2 in high-med settings with 35 fps...but recently i bought a new adapter of 3.9 amps with 76 Watts and i noticed a hugh amount of performance decreasing in lots of games that i usually play(about 10 fps)...is this happening because of the low rating adapter??...also my windows experience index has decrease from 5.8 to 5.1...any help will be appreciated

Hi, if your laptop is design to have an adapter of 4.7 amps and you give the laptop only 3.9 amps from a new adapter, something will not work right, if your performance is low, don't ask why. Your adapter have to charge the battery and power the laptop at the same time, when your battery need the charge. So why to change your adapter to a less powerful?
