OK, so I bought a GT70 a few months back from NCIX. The thing has worked great until tonight, where it will not charge/turn on without a battery in it (plugged in ofcourse). I will list the trouble shooting steps I have already taken, and hopefully someone can point me in another direction.
1. Unplugged machine, removed battery, held power button for 2 minutes, replugged machine without battery in it, laptop will not turn on.
2. I used another powersupply (my friend has the same laptop) did not work.
3. Used my powersupply on his laptop, works fine.
4. Used his charged battery in my laptop. machine not plugged in, still will not turn on.
5. Checked the power jack on the laptop, it is not loose and does not wiggle.
So I am at a loss for what the issue may be, at this point its looking like I will just need to go for the warranty (i bought the laptop in september). But I'm at work right now, and it's slow so if there is any other steps to take, it would be much appreciated.
