I am a gamer but I love electronic music too, such as dubstep. My price range is around $150 and I am looking to get the best sounding headset. I just recently bought myself the ATH-m50s and I can't say it's the best I've ever heard, but they are closed. What would you recommend? Should I stick with these, or return them and buy the sennheiser hd 558? Do the sennheiser hd 558s sound much better? Which is the better pair? Or should I go all the way up to sennheiser hd 598? I am really torn on this subject because I just want the best for my cash at this price range and the best sound. Oh frustration, so what do you think I should use?

if you just purchased the m50s i would give them several days of good testing to break in. they typically sound better after a few days.
sennheisers tend to be a bit light on bass however are also good headphones.
i personally own a pair of m50s and have used them for years. overall i've found them to be a great set of headphones for the price and i think they sound great but everyone has their own taste.
