One Toshiba Laptop has a peculiar problem. Everything is fine in it but the picture on the display has been vertically divided into three equal parts. The rightmost portion has gone to the left most and vice versa although the middle part remains intact.
I have tried to upload some snaps to let you better understand the matter but since I have captred those pics in my camera and no URL for those I couldn't upload...
Please help me out.

The problem is the screen itself, on the Toshiba site, the only permanent solution by many user, is to change the screen. But if you see that your cable is damaged, change the cable first, and after if the problem still remains, you will have to change the screen.
Hi, what picture do you have if you connect your laptop to an external monitor? If the picture is fine, then the screen for your laptop is defective.
You have a similar picture,
