I recently bought a used toshiba satellite S55D-S5120 laptop. From the moment i connected my Ethernet cable to access the internet i noticed that when running on battery the internet downloaded at full speed whereas when the power adapter was connected the internet download speed slowed down drastically. The same thing happens when playing games on the Dolphin wii/GameCube emulator. When connected a game that runs at 100% speed while on battery drops to around 50%-60% speed. Can someone please HELP!! I have tried messing around with the power options but nothing has worked so far. I tried matching all the settings "plugged in" to the same as "on Battery" but didnt help at all. Please Help, this is really bugging me. Thanks

Hey there! I agree with the post above, windows will slow things down to conserve your battery life. A great way to optimize your laptop would be using razer game booster. This sets up a power plan that will have all your things running peak performance, it will also make sure you have ram to use and no unnescessary programs running in the background using your CPU.
