I'm currently looking at an Alienware laptop with these specs:

4th-gen Intel Core i5-4200M; 8GB RAM; 750GB 7200RPM HDD; 14" Anti-glare 1366 x 768 screen
1GB GeForce GT 750M Graphics; Slot-loading DVD Burner; 6-cell Li-ion 69 wHr Battery
Killer NIC 1202 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0; Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Any suggestions? I'm basing the performance off of the recommendations of Battlefield 4.

it means it has 2 Gt 750s in sli. You cant customize it to win 7 on newegg but for what you get its worth it. you want the i7-4700MQ for BF4 multiplayer because its a quad core. The i5 on laptops are dual cores. Also it has much better resolution at 1920 x 1080.

Great thanks. Do you own one of these laptops? I read some reviews that complain about not being able to run both CPU's at the same time, overheating issues, etc.

i dont own this particular model but i did have a previous model the lenovo y580. they make really solid laptops.

not all games will utilize sli but for your needs BF4 will. it should run a little hotter since there is an extra GPU generating heat inside the laptop. With the latest drivers installed you shouldnt have any problems running sli

Alienware can be overpriced.

Check this Acer.

Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8 GHz (4 MB Cache)
8 GB DDR3L SDRAM
1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Touchscreen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
Windows 8, 6.5-hour battery life

Less than $750:)
