Your speakers must be hooked up properly and a TV needs to be attached to the monitor output. If one speaker has a short, from improper wiring, the unit will not work. I would double check all your wiring to make absolutely sure you have a minimum amount of exposed wire around the posts so that they can not touch each other. Another thing I used to see is too little jacket removed ( the spring clips are not touching the bare wire or the jacket is threaded through the 5-way binding post's hole with the bare wire poking out the other side! ) and there is really NO connection. However, If all the speakers work fine ( you have put your ear near each speaker to verify normal output (in 5 channel stereo mode) before trying to get into the menu and you have a TV with a HDMI connection and it still says not available then you should call your dealer. I read your manual's pages 28-29. There is not that much to it, so it should work if everything connected is fully functional. I presume you already chose the language. There is no other step needed before the language choice in "setup". I can't find the error code "not available" anywhere in the manual!
