I've replaced my Lenovo Ideapad's LED and now there are only 2 brightness level. 0 and 100. No intermediate levels. What has gone wrong? I tried re installing drivers but it didn't work. Plz help.
I believe your laptop uses Optimus, so the display may be driven by the Intel CPU instead of the NVidia chip. Have you installed an updated driver for the Intel HD graphics?
What LED are you referring to? Do you mean the LCD screen?
Yes LCD screen. I've tried reinstalling drivers. The seller also tried to check with another LCD but it was the same. So I think it's not hardware issue. Reinstalling windows will help?
Try removing the driver for the display itself in Device Manager. In Device Manager, look for Monitors; click the drop down arrow, then right click on the monitor and click Uninstall. Reboot the computer and Windows should reinstall the native driver.
I'm not sure what other drivers you tried but you should not need to reinstall anything as the monitor is considered a generic PnP device.

The seller tried with another LCD and Voila, it worked. It was compatibility issue. Thank you Prostar for your help anyway.
