I would like to know a few fps amounts for some popular games, and at which settings, and also whether I should get Windows 8 or 7 with it. If I get Windows 8 I will put start is back on it, so I'm not bothered about Metro UI. However I heard it had a few compatibility issues with games, so im not sure what to get.

Thanks, Gutawer

It will depend on the game. If there are some slightly older games you want to play, then you need to research if they have any issues. for example, Fallout 3 does not officially support Win 7, but most people have been able to play it after a few tweaks. It is likely Fallout 3 would need tweaks for Win 8 as well. You should not have problems with games released within the past 3 years.
