I got this laptop 2 years ago on black friday and a few days ago I turned it off like normal, and when I turned it back on it gave me a cpu fan failure warning, and now if I am using the cpu more than 30% it overheats in less than 2 minutes. But it had a replacement plan. So I called walmart and they're going to give my money back, but they can't fix it because the cpu fan/heat sink assembly (657145-001) was discontinued. So, Now I need to figure out where to get that part without paying >$100. THANKFULLY the manual has detailed instructions on how to replace but I just need to get my hands on that part! here's the manual. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03550054.pdf

I took the laptop apart and checked the fan, I plugged it into a AA battery using tin foil and copper wire, and it didn't work, The fan burnt out. I went to the site you linked and found this site listed on it, So I bought the last one they had...http://
