So i bought the Siberia v2 USB heat orange headphones and overall they're amazing, I've done some frequency tests and they hold up really well and audio sounds amazing.

The problem i'm having is that in some songs occasionally i hear a really faint but noticeable crackle sound, what i was wondering is whether this is the headphones fault or could it be the soundcard/audio quality? not quite sure what soundcard i have but i guarantee it's very bad.

What source is the music originating from?
I have good gear and the source must be flawless or otherwise you'll hear imperfections.
I listen to internet radio at 192k and hear crap all the time.
Same as a lot of downloads in 192/320k.
Try some Flac files.
Oh and btw if you're listening from a pc there's all sorts of electronic things(psu/mobo/gpu/etc.)that can get in the way of perfect sound.

Listening to it from youtube on 1080p but even at that quality i can assume it's pretty low. And i never got these imperfections with my old headphones but they were really crappy so i just assumed they weren't good enough to even pick them up because audio as a whole was an imperfection on them.

Edit; so i started playing 192k bitrate audio and so far 0 imperfections, so it seems the issue lies with youtubes audio quality.

1080p has nothing to do with high quality audio imo.
1080p on Youtube could range from 128 kbps - 192 kbps in AAC compression depending on the source.
If you're concerned about your headphones try higher quality audio sources like Flac for instance.

Could you pass me a link to download/stream a couple? couldn't find any. The 192k radio seems to be perfect though and pandora, even at 64k works fine so i'll have to blame youtube. I was honestly just worried that the headphones were busted up because i'm not sure if the manufacturer would take me serious if i told them i hear occasional cracks and want to replace it.

edit: got them yetserday so i'm kind of still testing stuff out.
