laptop cooling method

I am using My Hp 430 for l continuously 15 hours and it's get heat. i want to use aluminium based cooler system. i want to keep my laptop on the aluminium cooler.so it will absorb
heat from laptop
is any harm (i mean keeping a metal under a laptop any electronic related )there

Generally the best thing ya can do for ya laptop are:

1. Raise the back up on a ruler or something to get air under it
2. Take the back off every 6 months and clean out the dust, cookie crumbs and dog hair.

I have tried numerous coolers and neither had any effect better than the above.
