No more than $1000 U.S.

1366x768 is nice, but I'm flexible about this

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

500GB is fine

I'm looking at 2 laptops currently:
http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y-series/y410p/
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312829
For the Y410p I'm looking at the 59392571 model for $759 specifically. That looks like the better laptop to me, but I'd like other opinions.

I have a friend of mine who has last year's model of the 410p and he loves it. It's a really solid laptop, doesn't get too hot, and the screen resolution is pretty good. His laptop had the SLI setup though instead of the DVD drive, it played BF4 pretty impressively, but, he couldn't play DVDs without buying an Ultrabay add-on, so there's that.

If you get the 410p with the DVD drive, I think you'll be pretty satisfied. It was a solid laptop when I got to see it and it ran everything pretty fast.
