Hello to all kind people,

I own a laptop HP ENVY M6 1105 dx. Some days ago half of the screen became vertical transparent grey with some colored lines right in the middle of screen. When I log BIOS the the problem still exists. I plug in external HDMI monitor and it shows perfectly that way, though the problem still exists on laptop screen at the same time. I tried to press the periphery zones on the screen frame and the image changes a little only when i press the bottom right (if facing the screen) part.
Here is the picture. http://prntscr.com/2pcby6

Anybody please advise me what to do. Is it a broken screen and needs to be replaced or some chord/bridge inside the laptop has weakened that needs to be replaced?

Solution
Sure you can look at the connection, unplug the connector and plug it back, also look at the wire passing at the hinge of the screen, maybe the wire is cut somehow. But from what you said, if you pushing around the screen and the picture change, for me it's some bad connection on the motherboard of the screen. Who knows, could be the wire, you have to check all possibilities.

Hi Jarotech, thanks for answer. by chord/bridge i mean the thing that connects laptop's screen with motherboard or videocard (not sure). I thought the problem could be because of some loose connection.
