1. What is your budget?
I'm looking to spend max $1500. I would be willing to go over a little if it was worth it.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
I would REALLY like to go with a 14" but a 15" is acceptable as well.
3. What screen resolution do you want?
Would like to go with a 1920 x 1080.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable
5. How much battery life do you need?
This wouldn't really be an issue for me as this is mainly something for me to mess around with at work.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
I would like to be able to play some games at decent settings. I'll most likely be playing DoTa 2.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Nothing really that I can think of. I am mainly going to be messing around with and learning Linux with some DoTa 2 on the side.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Not really an issue as I will be buying a SSD separately.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
Anything that matches what I am looking for I am completely fine with.
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
Few a few years atleast.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
A plain CD/DVD ROM/Writer would be just fine.

I don't really have a preference. As long as it's not junk and fits my needs.

I'm looking for something stylish. I want something thin but with some good performance. It also HAS to have a backlit keyboard.
