Hello guys, I have my hard drive almost full of the torrent videos I've downloaded and I wanted to set up a network storage so I can transfer my collection there, as well as I would be able to stream them from my TV and mobile devices.

To start with I was looking at this network storage

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822502131
and I'll just buy two 3TB HDD, is this fine?

Now I don't have a smart TV just a regular LED TV, So I would need a box to connect to my TV so I can stream the videos. So can you guys suggest me a good one?

Also we use android and apple at home so how do I set up the network so I can also play the videos on mobile devices.

please help.

Thank you.

1st, you'll need a streaming box for your TV. Something like a WDTV Live or even a Roku.

2nd, you'll need some media serving software on the storage end of things or a PC that can connect to the storage and act as a transcoder for your different devices.

Look into:

www.plex.com
www.tversity.com
www.mezzmo.com

Windows Media Center will do the same kind of thing, but won't convert incompatible file formats like the above listed will.
