Greetings

I need your help in choosing between these two notebooks , for everyday tasks, multimedia/multitasking and some decent casual gaming. What I care about most is overall performance, reliability, stability and lasting power (for the coming 3 years or so) and I really like both of these machines but each one f them has its own strengths with some other identical specs, they are also of the same price. You can scroll down for the specs.

The its pros and cons time, it all depends on wht you want to do with it on the second CPU its listed as 1.7GHz . The second option has the better CPU but the asus comes with a larger SSD. If you need the extra multitasking power then the second option is better as it has hyper threading abut the clock speed is lower. However the Asus brand are good build quality and reliable, I am not familiar with the other brand. I have 2 Asus laptops 1 of them is over 4 years old and is still in the same condition I bought it and it still gets a lot of use (minus some stickers and a worn letter on the W key).

Edited post as i was looking at the wrong CPU when comparing

Yes I was leaning more towards the asus because it a good all rounder-ultrabook that is comfortable , attractive and supposedly stable (less heat/noise)

But the display (matte 1600x900 bright ) , backlit keyboard and better processor of the lenovo got me conflicted.

The keyboard lighting is to your own personal thing. But overall I would pick the one I linked if I was buying. The processor in the one I linked to is a 3.0gh with 2 cores and 4 threads (http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/9/Intel_Core_i7_Mobile_i7-4700MQ_vs_Intel_Core_i7_Mobile_i7-4702MQ.html) and the other one is 1.7gh with 4 cores and 8 threads. Thank you for your input, you have confirmed my thoughts in the asus book but to make a more informed decision I need to also see some feedback from somebody who who actually tried the lenovo one as well. Btw I think they made a mistake in the description about the clock speed I'd the lenovo , it's it is more like 2.4 ghz without turbo and slightly above 3 ghz in turbo. Another question I have about the processor difference , other than the better multitasking ability is the performance difference tangible enough when I comes to normal tasks and gaming or not really?

What kind of advantage would u get with more SSD ?
