I forgot my video card model/type sorry, but one day I can't get into windows and was forced to format my laptop cause any restoration method that I know can't fix it. So after formatting, I reinstalled my drivers that was on my utility disc that came with my laptop. after restarting the laptop my resolution was still the same and so I checked my device manager and checked the display adapters it only say "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" so I opened my laptop and got my video card out and reinstalled it after cleaning it a bit and checked again but sadly it's not working still. So PLEASE need help and thank you in advance. My laptop is and Alienware M17x btw.

You broke it...that's all. And since when does alienware do amd 4000 series graphics??? I'm going to say that the laptop is at least 5 years old in this case.
It's just outlived its life. sorry for your loss. a repair will likely cost more than what buying an equivalent laptop now would cost

You fucked your laptop...simple as that

if you can't remember what video card was in it, i'm also going to assume that you simply cleaned off all the thermal paste and did not bother re-applying new thermal paste? (the goopy looking stuff that you would have cleaned off). starting the computer without the thermal paste will have overheated it, possibly to the point of damage

I didn't even touch that thing and took the heat sink/absorber.. all I want to happen is for the laptop to dtect the vid. card.
