Hi all

This cable comes what an old sub woofer at my friend's house that is connected to some surround sound speakers at the other side of the room - he is wanting to hook these speakers and sub up to his Sony Bravia TV - any idea what adapter etc would be required? I can't find anything to give me a searchable name for it. There are 9 pins if that helps.

Solution
That is a proprietary connector for the home theater in a box that it came from. Don't think there is any way to connect that directly to the TV. You would have to connect the TV to the electronic box that come with them and the speakers to the box.

Here are a couple more images showing the port that accepts the cable. This is on an older VCR/DVD player and want I want to do is hook the speakers/sub up direct to the Bravia TV which doesn't accept this cable - any ideas on the adapter etc required?
