Hi, While I was overseas I brought a gaming mouse. http://e-3lue.com/int/individual%20product/ems607.html If you need to see it. It has macro buttons on it but after I installed the software drivers then key binded them, the macros don't work because the game I tried (Gmod) doesn't accept key injections (http://forums.highrez.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=714) Is there a program that detects custom unknown buttons but still use them to activate key binds?

Note: I have tried typing using keybinds with the official drivers and they do work on things like Microsoft Word.

hi,
same here...
i have gm-703 china oem made mouse (copy of logitech g300) but can not work on button # 8 & 9. they are alien to system... these are hardcoded to system... i have tried many gaming mouse softwares (like; logitech, saitek, razor, rapture, etc) but none of them recognised my mice as their... (i knew but just wanted to try) also tried Registry setting,... but not able to understand the coding of the same

they are located at HKCU/System/currentcontrolset/control/mediaproperties/privateProperties/directInput....
how to identify your mouse:
you have to first check in device manager/mice/HID device'properties... in there look for detail tab and select hardware ID... it will show PID the same is to be traced in registry...
Note: if you have gaming mouse, it will be under two separate heads (Keyboard and mice)

now i need know does your mice recognised by Win7 automatically of you had installed Drivers for it?
if yes.. kindly provide me the drivers you installed.

to add last.. have you tried the X-Buttons to map other keys (8 & 9 button will remain alien even to this software)

UPDATE:

i have got the Temporary solution to it with AutoHotKey programme.. its very great and flexible. you don't need any other programme and just a little logical mind to write scripts. (I am learning it)
also note that this programme (scripts) can be finally produced to GUI (Exe) which will make it as Macro software for any OEM china Mouse.

For my Mouse i have wrote the mapping and also script code to utilize the extra buttons wherever needed.
